With the Huey II kit upgrade, Bell refurbishes the UH-1H basic airframe to OEM standards, upgrades dynamic components, provides a complete rewire package and updates to avionics, and offers a selection of mission-specific kits and customizations. There are more than 300 Huey IIs operating in 14 countries with more than 1.2 million flight hours in military and para-public missions.
Seating capacity of up to 14 passengers, the Huey II has the capacity to provide tactical and administrative aerial mobility.
A stable platform to conduct aerial sniper, rappel, and paradrop operations, the Huey II has the size and useful load capability to support most all standard and non-standard civil, para-military and military utility missions.
The Huey II cockpit, crewmember and passenger windows provide a wide field-of-view to aid in the search and rescue of isolated, missing, or injured personnel.
